A sacrament in Christianity is a sacred act in which the believer receives the grace-filled gifts of the Holy Spirit. The sacraments have an external, visible, and invisible side. Lutherans recognize only Baptism and the Eucharist; Anglicans - Baptism, Eucharist and Marriage.
